Nana Janashia is a tech entrepreneur. After few startup failures, she founded TechWorld with Nana, currently the number 1 DevOps and Cloud engineering community in the world.

She has been teaching millions of people globally about DevOps and Cloud technologies.

Her mission is creating education materials that make learning complex engineering skills easy, fun and accessible for everyone around the world.

Her TechWorld with Nana YouTube channel has over 1.3 million subscribers and her DevOps and DevSecOps bootcamps have provided university level education to over 10,000 engineers worldwide.

She has been documenting her journey, and sharing her personal wins and failures as an entrepreneur and tech expert on her personal YouTube channel.

2019 - Today

Nana Janashia co-founded TechWorld with Nana to start teaching engineers around the world complex DevOps and Cloud technologies.

In parallel to building a global engineer community, she built a DevOps education company with her co-CEO Nicole Hiller, serving everyone from individual engineers to Fortune 500 companies and government agencies

2016-2019

While working full time as engineer, she also had few attempts at building startups on the side.

While all three of her startups failed, she built important skills and resilience through each attempt, that became the foundation of her next business breakthrough and entrepreneurial success.

2014 - 2019

Nana Janashia started her IT journey, as she enrolled in Technical University of Vienna and after years of working as a software engineer, found her passion in DevOps, transitioning fully into DevOps engineering and Kubernetes administration.

As a senior engineer, she shifted to freelancing to work on various challenging tech projects as a lead DevOps engineer.

2009 - 2013

After an exchange year in US, she built her career in Georgia as instructor of TOEFL/IELTS programs and had her first try at entrepreneurship by founding a small education company.

Soon after, however, she moved permanently to Austria, to start anew and build her professional career there.

1990 - 2009

Born in 1990 in Georgia, Nana was raised in Zugdidi and after graduating high school there, went to study business administration in the capital Tbilisi, with full government scholarship based on outstanding academic achievement.

After the first year at university, she won in a highly competitive US government funded program, and did an exchange program in University of Wisconsin, USA.
